Fast Setting Plug Mortar
Fast Setting Plug Mortar
It is a fast setting repair and plug mortar that prevents the active water leakages.
It is used in horizontal and vertical applications in indoor and outdoor spaces, waterproofing of active water leakages, waterproofing of pipe and cable penetrations, stopping water leaks before insulation, filling in the door supports inside the mold, beveling of concrete edge and corner joints and cold joint repair, filling the tie-rod gaps, repairing and installment of the elements that will not be exposed to heavy and static loads.
It is easy to apply.
It stops active water leaks by fast setting.
It gives effective results in repairing cracks, cold joints, and concrete defects.
It expands and forms a water impermeable plug.
Insulation material can be used on it after 15 minutes.
Since it does not contain chlorine, it does not cause corrosion in steel reinforcements.
Adhesion Strength: ≥0.50 N/mm2
Compressive Strength (7 days): ≥ 15 N/mm2
Compressive Strength (28 days): ≥ 25 N/mm2
*The above values have been obtained through laboratory tests and are valid for 28 days of the performance.
Application Temperature: (+5°C) – (+35°C)
Mixing Ratio: 1,2 – 1,5 lt water / 5 kg powder
Pot Life: 2 minutes
Ultimate Drying: 5 minutes
Mixture Density: ~ 2,10 gr/cm³
Average Consumption: ~ 2 kg/m² (for 1 mm thickness)
*These values are valid for 23°C and 50% relative humidity. Times may vary depending on ambient conditions.
-The application surface should be made clean from dust, dirt, oil, paint residue, and similar foreign matters reducing adherence.
– The crack or gap, which the application will be made, should be opened with a 20*20mm vertical section. Care should be taken not to make the corners of the opened section very sharp.
Enough amount of water is added to the ADEMIX ISOPLUG 7130 amount which can be in consumed 2 minutes is stirred by hand using a suitable glove. The mixture should be made within 30 seconds.
Repair of active water leaks:
Crack with active water leakage is opened up at minimum 20 mm width and depth, or until reaching solid ground. ADEMIX ISOPLUG 7130, which has been transformed into the mortar, is shaped conically by hand; the mortar, which starts to heat, is applied to the area where the active water leakage is located with a single stroke. The pressure is applied by keeping the hand steady for at least 60 seconds. In repairing the gaps that cannot be closed at once, the above process is repeated several times, from the surrounding of the gap to its center.
Excess material remaining around the gap should be cleaned immediately after application.
To insulate the cold joints of wall, floor:
Cold joint is opened up at minimum 20 mm width and depth, or until reaching solid ground. After the wire, wooden wedge or similar materials are removed from the surface, the interior of the joint is filled with ADEMIX ISOPLUG 7130 conveniently.
For fixing of metal anchorage or connectors to reinforced concrete:
Anchorage gap is opened on the reinforced concrete surface with a suitable mechanical tool, leaving more space than the diameter of the anchorage element. Dust, dirt and weak materials inside the opened gap should be removed. Anchorage gap should be saturated with water before application. The anchorage gap is filled with a sufficient amount of ADEMIX ISOPLUG 7130. ADEMIX ISOPLUG 7130 is cured by placing the anchoring element, quickly rotating it in the direction of its vertical axis.
Should not be applied in temperatures below 5°C.
It should be kept moist for 15 minutes as it fastly sets as a result of increasing hydration. This time should be 30 minutes on dry and absorbent surfaces.
-For the performance and technical values of the material to meet the specified data, and not having an extension-shortening of workability and open holding times; the application should be made at specified ambient and surface temperatures.
-Foreign materials should never be mixed into the mortar.
– It should be mixed with warm or hot water in cold weather.
-After application, all used tools should be washed with plenty of water before drying.
