Ademix 7506 Pol Waterproof Al
Aliphatic Polyurethane-Based One Component UV Resistant Waterproofing Material
Ademix 7506 Pol Waterproof AL
Aliphatic Polyurethane-Based One Component UV Resistant Waterproofing Material
Description:
It is an aliphatic polyurethane-based, one component, highly elastic, UV resistant, seamless, and excellent crack bridging waterproofing material.
Areas of Use:
It is used on roofs, balconies and terraces, light roofs made of metal and fiber materials, concrete, plaster, screed, repair mortar, plastered brick, gas concrete and briquette surfaces, in the protection and waterproofing of bridges and similar reinforced concrete structures.
Product Advantages:
It is easy to apply.
It provides seamless and continuous waterproofing on the applied surface.
It is resistant to UV rays.
It provides permeability for water vapor.
The film has air permeability and prevents moisture from accumulating in the lower layer.
It can be walk on.
It has excellent mechanical and chemical properties, provides high tensile strength, and tear and abrasion resistance.
It is resistant to outdoor weather conditions
It can be used in crack bridging due to its highly elastic structure.

*These values are valid for 23°C and 50% relative humidity. Time periods may vary depending on ambient conditions.
Surface Preparation:
-The surface must be clean and dry, and free from oil, dirt, grease, coatings and other types of dirt that will prevent adhesion.
– Large fractures and faults must be repaired beforehand.
– Corners and joints in the application area must be chamfered beforehand.
-The cement crust and glossy screed sand on the concrete surface must be cleaned and the surface must be roughened and wiped with tools such as notching machine, wiping machine with diamond drum, powered grinding machine.
-The entire surface must be freed from dust with an industrial vacuum cleaner.
-The surface must be prepared by priming with ADEMIX 7501 POL PRIMER.
Preparation of the Mixture:
Before applying ADEMIX 7502 POL WATERPROOF AL, it must be mixed for 3 minutes in order to obtain a homogeneous consistency.
Application:
ADEMIX 7502 POL WATERPROOF AL must be poured on the primed surface and spread with a brush or roller until the entire surface is covered.
It can be applied using an airless spray on large surfaces.
– Problematic areas such as wide surfaces, floor-wall joints, parapet corners, chimney flashings should be strengthened. For this, a 50 – 60 g/m² synthetic felt must be used.
ADEMIX 7502 POL WATERPROOF AL must be applied on the surface with a brush or roller, and must be placed on the surface by compressing where polyester felt is applied. ADEMIX 7502 POL WATERPROOF AL must be applied until the felt is saturated.
– The second coat must be applied 12 hours after the first coat is applied (within maximum 36 hours).
– It contains solvent, and it is flammable. Do not approach with an open flame and do not smoke during application.
– Cracks, capillary cracks and joints should be cleaned from dust, dirt, oil and similar residues that would prevent adhesion.
Cleaned cracks and joints should be primed and left to dry for 2-3 hours.
-Micro bubbles might be formed during the curing process. This is a feature of the product and does not affect the protective properties of the product. Therefore, it should be ensured that the product is not applied too thick in a single coat. Too much thickness may cause bubbles.
-All tools and application equipment should be cleaned with thinner immediately after use. Hardened/cured material can only be removed by mechanical methods.
Warnings:
All necessary Occupational Health and Safety measures must be taken in the application areas. All work safety equipment such as work clothes, protective gloves/goggles /mask should be used during the application in accordance with the Occupational Health and Safety rules. Ventilation of the working area is required. Warehouse and stock areas should not be approached with fire. Contact of the product with the skin and eyes should be prevented, in such a case, the contacted part of the skin should be washed with plenty of water and medical help should be obtained immediately. Food and beverages should also not come into contact with the product. It should be stored away from children.
