Polyurethane Based Single Component Waterproofing Material

It is a polyurethane-based, single component, highly elastic, applicable jointless insulation material that can build a perfect crack bridge.

It is used in roofs and concrete structures, waterproofing of bathrooms, WCs, balconies and terraces, waterproofing of concrete, brick, asbestos cement, bridge and similar reinforced concrete structures. 

It is easy to apply. 

It provides jointless and continuous waterproofing on the applied surface.

It shows excellent mechanical and chemical properties, provides high tensile, tear and abrasion strength.  

The film breathes and prevents moisture from accumulating in the lower layer.

-The surface must be clean and dry, and free from oil, dirt, grease, coatings and other dirt that will prevent adhesion.

-Large fractures and faults must be repaired beforehand. 

– Chamfering should be done to corners and joints in the application area.

-The cement crust and glossy screed sanding on the concrete surface should be cleaned with tools such as a notching machine, diamond drum wiping machine, driven grinding, and the surface should be roughened and wiped. 

-The entire surface of the industrial vacuum cleaner should be cleaned from dust. 

-The surface should be prepared by priming with ADEMIX 7501 POL PRIMER.

Before applying ADEMIX 7502 POL WATERPROOF, it should be stirred for 3 minutes to obtain a homogeneous consistency.

ADEMIX 7502 POL WATERPROOF should be poured on the primed surface and propagated with a brush or roller until the entire surface is covered.

It can be applied with airless spray-on wide surfaces. 

– Problematic areas such as wide surfaces, floor-wall joints, parapet corners, chimney flashings should be strengthened. For this, 50 – 60 gr/m² synthetic felt should be used. 

ADEMIX 7502 POL WATERPROOF should be applied on the surface with a brush or roller, and should be placed on the surface by compressing where polyester felt is applied. ADEMIX 7502 POL WATERPROOF should be applied until saturating the felt.

– The second coat should be applied 18 hours after the first coat application (within 48 hours minimum). 

– If a surface that is resistant to UV rays and light foot traffic, that does not chalk or fade is required, ADEMIX 7502 POL WATERPROOF UV should be applied on ADEMIX 7502 POL WATERPROOF.  

  It contains solvent, and it is flammable. Do not approach with an open flame and do not smoke during application.

– Cracks, capillary cracks, and joints should be cleaned from dust, dirt, oil and similar residues that would prevent adhesion.

Cleaned cracks and joints should be primed and left to dry for 2-3 hours.

-Microbubbles might be formed during the curing process. This is a product feature and does not affect the protective properties of the product. Therefore, it should be ensured that the product is not applied too thick in a single coat. Having too much thickness can cause bubbles.

-All tools and application equipment should be cleaned with thinner immediately after use. Hardened/cured material can only be removed by mechanical methods.

All necessary Occupational Health and Safety measures must be taken in the application areas. All work safety equipment, such as work clothes, protective gloves/goggles /mask, should be used during the application in accordance with the Occupational Health and Safety rules. Ventilation of the working area is required. Warehouse and stock areas should not be approached with fire. Contact of the product with the skin and eyes should be prevented, in such a case, the contacted part of the skin should be washed with plenty of water and medical attention is required immediately. Food and beverages should also not come into contact with the product. It should be kept out of reach of children.
