Cement-Acrylic Based, UV Resistant Fully Flexible Waterproofing Material

Cement-Acrylic Based, UV Resistant Fully Flexible Waterproofing Material

Cement-acrylic based, two component, UV resistant, fully flexible waterproofing, and concrete protection mortar with superior properties provided by water impermeability chemicals.

It can be used in all kinds of concrete, screed, and plaster surfaces, swimming pools and thermal pools (covered with ceramic coating), walls and floor coverings of cold storage, potable water tanks, and wet areas, such as WC, balcony, bathroom, kitchen, terraces, and curtain walls, where impermeability and protection are required.

• Easy to apply

• High adhesion strength.

• Absorbs expansion thanks to its highly elastic structure.

• Resistant to freeze-thaw effects.

• Resistant to salt solutions, seawater, and chlorine ions.

• Crack bridging ability

• Ideal waterproofing material prior to ceramic coating or screed.

• Not corrosive for reinforcement.

• Creates a seamless, jointless, waterproof, and solid layer with its fully flexible structure.

• Used in places such as water storage tanks, pools, wet areas, spa, etc.

• Suitable for use for potable water tanks.

• UV resistant

• Usable in areas exposed to high UV radiation, such as terraces and balconies, as long as not subjected to heavy loads.

– Initial Tensile Adhesive Strength: ≥ 0.5 N / mm2

– Tensile Adhesive Strength following Water Contact: ≥ 0.5 N / mm2

– Tensile Adhesive Strength following Heat Aging: ≥ 0.5 N / mm2

– Tensile Adhesive Strength following Freeze-Thaw Cycle: ≥ 0.5 N / mm2

– Tensile Adhesive Strength following Hard Water Contact: ≥ 0.5 N / mm2

– Tensile Adhesive Strength following Chlorinated Water Contact: ≥ 0.5 N / mm2

– Water Impermeability: Impermeable

– Crack Bridging at Low Temperatures (-5 ° C): ≥ 0.75 mm

– Pressurized Water Resistance (Positive): ≥ 7 bar

Temperature Resistance: (-40 °C) – (+80 °C)

*The above values were obtained through laboratory tests and are valid for 28 days of the performance.

Application Temperature: (+5 °C) – (+35 °C)

Mixing Ratio: 8 kg liquid / 25 kg powder

Workability Time: 2 Hours

Waiting Time between Coats: 5- 6 hours

Setting Time: 1 week

Consumption Average: First coat: 2 kg / m2 (For 1 mm thickness depending on surface roughness)

Second coat: 1.70 kg / m2 (For 1 mm thickness depending on surface roughness)

Third coat: 1.30 kg / m2 (For 1 mm thickness depending on the surface roughness)

* These values are valid for 23 °C and 50% relative humidity. The required period may vary depending on ambient conditions.

– The application surface should be cleaned from dust, dirt, oil, paint residue, and other similar adherence reducing impurity.

– The application surface should be set.

¬- Any surface defects, roughness, and eyelet pores should be repaired with ADEMIX PLASTER 1 day before the application and chamfers edges should be made.

– The floor should be dampened, moistened, and saturated with water.

Pour 8 kg liquid component into a container and then slowly add 25 kg ADEMIX ISOFLEX UV 7010 powder. The mixture should be stirred at low-speed for at least 3 minutes until a homogenous and flowing mixture is obtained. Rest the mortar for 5 minutes and then stir for 30 seconds before the application and the mortar will be ready to use.

The mixture is applied to the surface with a brush or roller with at least two layers. It should be applied by feeding thoroughly to cover the entire surface to prevent formation of surface pores. Allow at least 5 hours dry time before applying second coat. The second coat should be applied just like the first coat. However, each coat should be vertical to the previous coat. Application made in 90 degrees rotation eliminates the risk of pores. Wait for maximum 1 day between each coat to be applied.

It should be applied in at least 2 coats. Depending on the water level, 3 coats may be required.

– Apply chamfering tape to the corners and joints in the application area. If there is no chamfer band, the joints should be ovalized and the mortar should be reinforced with mesh.

-In case of heavy pedestrian flow, the application surface should be covered with a protective coating material such as screed and ceramic.

– Wait for at least 7 days for the application surface to be opened for use and flooring.

– If the application surface is a water storage tank, the product should be cured for at least 28 days.

– During the coating process, care must be taken to avoid mechanical damage to the insulation material.

– If the mortar starts to dry out as you work, do not use it.

-The mixture should be prepared only with its liquid; do not add water.

– Applications should not be carried out in temperatures below -5°C.

– The application surface should be protected from sun, rain, and dust for 1 day and protective measures should be taken during application on surfaces exposed to direct sunlight and wind.

– Foreign materials should never be mixed into the mortar.

– After the application, all tools used should be washed with water before drying.

This is a cement-based product, do not directly breathe the product and avoid contact with skin and eyes.
