Quartz Aggregated Surface Hardener
Description:
It is a cement-based, quartz aggregate, ready to use surface hardener that increases the surface strength, is applied by sprinkling on fresh concrete surfaces in powder form.
Areas of Use:
Due to the quartz aggregate in its structure, it is applied on all floor coverings, that are desired not to cause wear resistance and dusting, according to the load and traffic conditions. It is used in residences, workplaces, car parks, garages and ramps, material stores, workshops, factories, fairgrounds, shopping centers where human traffic is intensive, industrial buildings, gas stations, etc.

Surface Preparation:
Bearing concrete of the application area must be at least C25 class.
-The surface of the fresh concrete, to be applied, should not be polished with a steel trowel or tray polish, it should be smoothed with a wooden trowel.
Application:
It is required to wait until it is possible to walk on concrete before starting the application. Appropriate time is the time when the concrete is hardened enough to have 0.5-1.5 cm deep footprint when stepped on. ADEMIX 707 bags should be lined up around the edges of the plaster strips according to plaster strip width and consumption amounts.
ADEMIX 707 is distributed to the whole surface by sprinkling method. The material should not be left on the surface in clumps, the best possible homogeneous distribution should be provided. Moreover, sprinkling over long distances should not be done to prevent the aggregates in the product from separating. This operation can be done by hand or with special sprinkling equipment. At the first stage, 2/3 of the total consumption is sprinkled on the concrete surface. The sprinkled material should be waited to change color by absorbing the water of the concrete. Sprinkled homogeneously and changing color by absorbing water, ADEMIX 707 is compressed with tray polish to ensure integration with concrete. Then the remaining material is spread on the concrete surface as done in the first application. Blade polishing starts and this process continues until the desired gloss is achieved.
After polishing is completed; to protect the concrete surface, ADEMIX CURE material should be used. ADEMIX CURE material slows down the water evaporation rate in the concrete and increases the concrete strength value, allowing the concrete to set with the current amount of water. It prevents shrinkage cracks and surface dusting.
The application should be avoided in very humid and very hot weather, under strong wind or sun.
It should not be used on surfaces that are frozen, melting, or have the risk of frost within 24 hours.
Warnings:
Do not breathe the product directly, as it is cement-based. Avoid contact with skin and eyes.
