Surface Preparation:
-The application surface should be made clean from dust, dirt, oil, paint residue, and similar foreign matters reducing adherence.
If there are surface defects (holes and cavities), they should be filled with ADEMIX REPAIR at least 1 day in advance.
The surfaces should be moistened with water before the application.
Mixture Preparation:
35 kg ADEMIX 220 Ready Hand Plaster is added slowly to 6.5-7.5 lt water. Stirred until a homogeneous mixture is obtained with a trowel or a low-speed mixer, leaving no lumps.
Application:
The prepared mixture is applied to the surface and spread by straightening. When the surface starts to harden (in about 4 hours), it should be feathered with circular movements and without pressure with a trowel. For smooth surfaces, wipe with a damp sponge. Wiping should be done immediately after feathering, and the sponge should be cleaned frequently.
ADEMIX 220 Ready Hand Plaster the applied surfaces must be moistened within 12-24 hours. The second humidification should be done 24 hours after the second humidification. The surface should be moistened for 2-3 days.
It has an application range of 5 –30 mm.For applications thicker than 10 mm, second layer application is started.
At least 7 days should pass after the plaster application before applying coating, painting etc. on plastered surfaces.
In order to obtain a smooth surface, the surface must be gauged from bottom to top obliquely.
At different joints such as walls and columns, window door edges and applications thicker than 7 mm should be used to prevent cracking in thicker applications.
Should not be applied in temperatures below 5°C.
Should not be applied to surfaces which are directly exposed to sun and wind without protective measures.
Foreign materials should never be mixed into the mortar.
After application, all used tools should be washed with plenty of water before drying.
Warnings:
Do not inhale the product directly, as it is cement-based. Avoid contact with skin and eyes.
