Ademix Repaır M5
Thin Repair Mortar
Thin Repair Mortar
Cement-based polymer and fiber-reinforced thin repair mortar
It can be used in the joints of main building elements on interior and exterior surfaces, in restoration and repair works, and in the filling of tie-rod holes in tunnel concretes, in fractures, cracks, holes, and surface losses.
It adapts easily to the applied surface.
It displays good performance with its high adherence.
It provides a smooth and solid surface.
It is used for fractures, cracks, holes, and surface losses.
Adhesion Strength: ≥ 0.5 N/mm²
Flexural Strength: ≥ 3 N/mm²
Compression Strength: ≥ 10 N/mm²
Fire Reaction Class: A1
*The above values are valid for 28 days of performance that was obtained as a result of laboratory experiments.
Application Temperature: (+5°C) – (+35°C)
Mixing Ratio: 5 – 6 lt water / 25 kg powder
Usable Time: 1 hour
Application Thickness: 1-5 mm
Average Consumption: 1.4-1.8 kg/m² (1 mm for thickness)
*These values are valid for 23°C and 50% relative humidity. Times may vary depending on ambient conditions.
-The application surface should be made clean from dust, dirt, oil, paint residue, and similar foreign matters reducing adherence.
– In surface-mounted applications, the surface must be completely hardened.
If the surface has low adherence, broken, loose parts, these parts must be removed from the surface.
-The floor should be dampened, moistened, and saturated with water.
25 kg of ADEMIX REPAIR M5 is slowly added to 5 – 6 liters of water. Stirred until a homogeneous mixture is obtained with a trowel or a low-speed mixer, leaving no lumps. The mortar, which is rested for 5 minutes, is stirred again before using and its homogeneity is checked.
The prepared mixture is filled by applying pressure to the broken, cracked, broken areas on the floor with a steel trowel. For smooth surfaces, polishing is done with a damp sponge. The sponge should be cleaned frequently.
Surfaces where ADEMIX REPAIR M5 is applied must be moistened within 12-24 hours. The second humidification should be done 24 hours after the first humidification. The surface should be moistened for 2-3 days. Further irrigation increases material performance.
The expired mortar should not be used.
Should not be applied in temperatures below 5°C.
-Should not be applied on surfaces that are exposed to direct sunlight and wind without taking protective measures.
-Foreign materials should never be mixed into the mortar.
-After application, all used tools should be washed with plenty of water before drying.
