Description:
It is a plaster, screed and mortar additive providing good adhesion and waterproofing.
Areas of Use:
It is used in plasters, floor screeds, repair mortars, jambs, ceramic adhesives, wall mortars to increase flexibility, adherence, and water impermeability.

Application Information:
Application Temperature: (+5°C) – (+35°C)
Mixing Ratio: 1:1 – 1:4 (According to the place of use and purpose)
Consumption: Variable according to the place of use and purpose.
Surface preparation:
-All surfaces should be clean, free from oil and grease, cement grout, weak and loose particles should be removed from the surface.
– Absorbent surfaces should be properly wetted and saturated with water before application.
-It should be paid attention that the surface is cured and solid.
-The surface should be free from residues that will prevent adhesion.
Mixture Preparation:
It is used by mixing in clean mixing water at the ratio of 1:1-1:4 (ADEMIX LATEX: Water).
> Prepared mixture should be put into the concrete mixer, cement and fillings should be added on it. It is recommended to mix cement and fillings beforehand to prevent lumps from forming.
> The mortar should be stirred until a homogeneous mixture is obtained.
Use in plaster mortars:
> To a sufficient amount of cement mixture mixed with sand with suitable grain size (cement/sand ratio: 1/4 – 1/5); plaster mortar is obtained by adding enough water from the mixture water with ADEMIX LATEX:Water in 1/4 ratio.
Use in repair mortars:
>Prepared powder mortar (cement/sand ratio: 1/3 – 1/4); repair mortar is obtained by adding enough water from the mixture water with ADEMIX LATEX: Water in 1/3 ratio.
Use in screeds:
> Firstly, for the preparation of the mortar to be used as an adhesion-promoting layer, it should be added to the powder mortar (cement/sand ratio: 1/3) until it obtains boza consistency from the liquid mixture prepared with ADEMIX LATEX: Water in 1/2 ratio. The prepared mixture should be applied on the floor with a brush until the thickness is 2 mm. The screed must be applied to this coat when it is wet. To the mixture containing enough sand and cement for the preparation of the screed (cement/sand ratio: 1/3 – 1/4), enough amount of mixture water prepared with ADEMIX LATEX: Water in 1/4 should be added.
Warnings:
-It should be protected from freezing.
Should not be applied in temperatures below 5°C.
-After application, all used tools should be washed with plenty of water before drying.
-Do not stir too much to prevent the mortar from entering too much air.
– Pay special attention not to use ADEMIX LATEX stand-alone as an adhesive layer in pure or diluted form, and to always add cement and sand.
– Expired or crusted mortar in the container should be junked.
– Hands and application tools should be washed with plenty of water after the application.
– In applications performed under inconvenient ambient conditions such as high temperature, low humidity, wind, attention should be paid to cure the mortar prepared with ADEMIX LATEX. Rapid evaporation can cause shrinkage and thus surface cracks.
