Crystallized Capillary Waterproofing Concrete Admixture

It is a crystalline concrete admixture used for waterproofing in concrete. 

It is used to provide an entire and continuous waterproofing in foundations, reinforced concrete walls, 

lift shafts, underground car parks, tunnels, dams, precast concrete elements, drinking water, and waste water-tanks, 

water channels, water refining facilities, swimming pools, mass concretes.

It’s easy to use. 

It saves labor and time. 

Since it is liquid, it is easy to mix. 

It is constantly active, it becomes a permanent part of the concrete. 

It does not prevent the concrete to breathe. 

It does not adversely affect the freeze-thaw strengths of concrete. 

It makes the concrete impermeable against very high water pressure (14 bar) from the positive and negative sides.

Density: 1.15 ± 0.02 g/cm³ 

Workable Period: 45 minutes

ADEMIX CRYSTAL is used up to 2% of the cement amount. 

Dosing in concrete plant: ADEMIX CRYSTAL can be added to the mixture with the mixing water as the last component. 

Dosing at the construction site: ADEMIX CRYSTAL is added to the mixer at a rate of maximum 2% of the cement weight in the concrete and stirred for at least 5 minutes in total. Stirring should be done without delay. 

*It is not suitable to waterproof with ADEMIX CRYSTAL in concretes with a water/cement ratio greater than 0.55. 

Before application, pressure, propagation or slump tests should be done according to the mixture design in the concrete laboratory. 

Necessary tests should be carried out on the mix design, taking into account its interaction with other additives and various types of cement. 

ADEMIX CRYSTAL can rarely affect the settlement of concrete. In such cases, the most suitable retarder product should be used.

It is in accordance with TS EN 934-2 standard Table 9.
