Ademix 5050 Multi Isolation
Lightweight Plaster with Glass Bead
Lightweight Plaster with Glass Bead
It is Cement – Glass Bead Based, Polymer and Fiber Reinforced Lightweight Plaster.
It is used as a thermal insulation plaster on exterior and interior surfaces on concrete, brick, pumice, aerated concrete, old plaster.
It is an environmentally friendly product.
When applied on the exterior and interior walls of the buildings, it provides 40% heat saving.
With its breathing feature, it prevents the formation of moisture, mold, fungus, etc. in the buildings.
It is resistant to factors such as rain, snow, sun, and sudden weather changes.
It provides smooth surfaces for interior and exterior spaces.
It has high flexibility due to polymer additives.
Thanks to the fiber in its special formula, it absorbs stresses arising from temperature differences. It minimizes the risk of cracking.
It is an A1 class non-combustible material.
Dry Bulk Density: 550 ± 100 kg/m³
Compressive strength: CSII
Bond Strength: ≥ 0,2 N/mm²
Capillary Absorption: W1
Water Vapor Permeability Coefficient: ≤ 15
Fire Reaction Class: A1 Non-Combustible
*The above values are valid for 28 days of performance that was obtained as a result of laboratory experiments.
:
Application Temperature: (+5°C) – (+35°C)
Mixing Ratio: 7.5-8.5 lt water / 20 kg powder
Usable time: 2 hours
Readjusting period: 25 minutes
Application Thickness: 7–30 mm
Average Consumption: 4-5 kg/m²
*These values are valid for 23°C and 50% relative humidity. Times may vary depending on ambient conditions.
-The application surface should be made clean from dust, dirt, oil, paint residue, and similar foreign matters reducing adherence.
If there are surface defects (holes and cavities), they should be filled with ADEMIX REPAIR at least 1 day in advance.
Plaster strips should be prepared in the intervals where gauging can be made where necessary, on its plumb and scale. Plaster strips should be prepared at least one day before.
The surfaces should be moistened with water before the application.
Slowly add 20 kg of ADEMIX 5050 MULTI ISOLATION to 7.5-8.5 lt of water. Stirred until a homogeneous mixture is obtained with a trowel or a low-speed mixer, leaving no lumps. The mortar which is rested for 5 minutes is then stirred again and made ready for use.
The previously prepared material is filled between the plaster strips with a steel trowel or plastering machine. Then the excess plaster between the plaster strips is removed by straightening with a gauge. A decorative textured or flat appearance is given to the surface with a steel trowel. Approximately 48 hours after the application, paint works are performed on the surface if desired.
In the applications done with the machine, the material should be sprayed approximately 20 cm away from the surface.
It has an application range of 5 –30 mm.For applications thicker than 20 mm, the second layer application is started.
For eliminating cracking risks, glass-fiber mesh should be applied by overlapping 10 cm on joints.
Beams, corners, window and door frames should be reinforced with additional glass-fiber.
Corner profiles should be placed on beam, corner, window, and door frames.
At least 2 days should pass after the plaster application before applying the coating, painting, etc. on plastered surfaces.
In order to obtain a smooth surface, the surface must be gauged from bottom to top obliquely.
Should not be applied in temperatures below 5°C.
-Should not be applied on surfaces that are exposed to direct sunlight and wind without taking protective measures.
-Foreign materials should never be mixed into the mortar.
-After application, all used tools should be washed with plenty of water before drying.
